Chief Financial Officer

Bich Van Ngo is a distinguished chartered accountant and senior executive with over four decades of experience in financial leadership, corporate governance, and the French banking sector. As Vice-Chair of the Fédération du Crédit Mutuel Île-de-France and Chair of its Audit and Accounts Committee, she plays a pivotal role in one of France’s leading mutual banking networks.

A graduate of Université Paris Dauphine with a Master’s degree in Economics and certified as a company director from Sciences Po Paris, Ngo has built an impressive career spanning entrepreneurship, banking, and corporate leadership. She began her professional journey in 1979 and has consistently held Chair and CEO positions across multiple organizations, demonstrating exceptional leadership capabilities throughout her career.

As the Chair and CEO of NGO Audit et Conseil since 2018, Ngo leads her own accounting and auditing firm, building upon her previous role as Chair and CEO of Audit et Conseil Europe from 1995 to 2018. Her entrepreneurial expertise in establishing and scaling professional services firms has positioned her as a respected figure in the French accounting and financial advisory sector.

Ngo’s extensive involvement with Crédit Mutuel demonstrates her deep commitment to cooperative banking principles. She joined the board of Crédit Mutuel de Verrières le Buisson in 2013, assuming the Chair role in 2015. Her leadership within the Crédit Mutuel network expanded when she joined the Fédération du Crédit Mutuel Île-de-France board in 2018 and was appointed Vice-Chair in 2023. She further extended her influence by joining the boards of the Caisse Fédérale du Crédit Mutuel in 2023 and the Confédération Nationale du Crédit Mutuel in 2024.

Her governance expertise extends beyond the Crédit Mutuel group. Since October 2022, she has served on the Board of Directors of Banque de Luxembourg, where she sits on both the Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee. She was previously a board member of the Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel until 2023 and served as a former board member at Haffner Energy SA.

A notable aspect of Ngo’s leadership is her role as Chair of the Audit and Accounts Committee of the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale since 2023, a position she has held as a member since 2020. This role underscores her expertise in financial oversight and risk management within one of Europe’s significant banking institutions.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ngo is deeply committed to community leadership and cultural representation. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Mouvement des Citoyens Français d’origine Vietnamienne, an association representing French citizens of Vietnamese heritage. This role reflects her dedication to bridging cultural communities and advocating for diversity and inclusion within French society.

Throughout her career, Ngo has demonstrated exceptional ability to balance entrepreneurial leadership with corporate governance responsibilities. Her expertise spans financial management, audit oversight, risk assessment, and strategic planning across multiple sectors. Her long tenure in leadership positions and her continued involvement in major financial institutions highlight her reputation as a trusted advisor and skilled executive in the French financial services sector.
