Following the remarkable success of our inaugural Tech Diplomacy Global Forum in June 2025, the Tech Diplomacy Institute is thrilled to announce that our second annual forum will return to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in June 2026.

Shaping Tomorrow’s Digital Governance Today

As the world’s premier platform uniting Tech Ambassadors, governments, and technology leaders, the Tech Diplomacy Institute stands at the critical intersection where technology reshapes global power dynamics and transforms international relations. Our 2026 forum will build upon the momentum of our inaugural gathering, which brought together ministers, ambassadors, industry leaders, and civil society representatives from across the globe.

What to Expect

The Tech Diplomacy Global Forum 2026 will once again convene at the iconic Maison de l’UNESCO, continuing our partnership with this vital international organization dedicated to advancing global cooperation and human progress.

Key Focus Areas for 2026:

Digital Sovereignty & International Cooperation — As the digital landscape grows increasingly complex, we’ll explore how nations can maintain autonomy while fostering meaningful cross-border collaboration in an era of rapid technological transformation.

Artificial Intelligence Governance — Building on 2025’s discussions, we’ll delve deeper into the frameworks needed for responsible AI development, deployment, and regulation across borders.

Cybersecurity & Information Integrity — The evolving threat landscape demands innovative diplomatic approaches. Our 2026 forum will examine emerging strategies for securing our digital future while combating disinformation.

Bridging the Digital Divide — Expanding access and opportunity remains paramount. We’ll showcase initiatives and strategies for ensuring the Global South fully participates in and benefits from the digital revolution.

Gender Equality in Technology — Our commitment to inclusive digital futures continues with expanded programming on closing the gender gap in technology and digital governance.

Our inaugural 2025 forum brought together more than 50 speakers representing governments, multilateral organizations, industry leaders, and civil society from every corner of the globe. From Kenya to Namibia, from Eswatini to the UAE, from Chile to France, the diversity of perspectives enriched every conversation and strengthened our collective capacity to address shared challenges.

The energy and commitment demonstrated in 2025 proved what we’ve long believed: effective technology governance requires neutral, multilateral spaces where all stakeholders can engage as equals. The Tech Diplomacy Institute provides that essential forum.
